Meet Savatiano – Greece’s most planted grape. You’ll usually see Savatiano made into “Retsina”; the infamous Greek wine infused with pine sap to create a sweet, yet weirdly salty wine (it’s not our favorite). But this winemaker ditched the pine sap and created a white wine with perfectly balanced acidity and mineral undertones.
Markou Vareli Savatiano is a full-bodied wine that bursts with flavors of lemon peel & herbs. We like the new look.
