Pozno "Time Thief" - Shiraz / Muscat

Pozno "Time Thief" is a bold red and white grape blend from the Macedon Ranges, just outside Melbourne. The deep, inky color and aromatic complexity come from a harmonious marriage of Shiraz and Muscat. The Shiraz contributes rich dark fruit, while the Muscat adds a floral lift and curiously enough, helps stabilize the color. 

This practice of blending a white grape with Syrah for color, goes back to the 11th century Romans!
